Lacrosse Skills – Wall Drills (1/22/2010)
  1. All drills must be performed with both hands.
  2. Any wall will work, but a smooth concrete wall at least 10 feet tall is the best surface.
  3. Use your gloves when performing this routine.
  4. Stand about five yards from the wall.
  5. Perform this routine 4 to 5 times a week for 15 to 20 minutes and your stick skills will improve a great deal in a very short period of time.
  6. Drills:
    1. Right hand quick stick - 50 times (left hand)
    2. Right hand - 1 catch & cradle 50 times (left hand)
    3. Right hand (1 hand only) quick stick - 50 times (left hand)
    4. Right hand catch & face dodge - 50 times (left hand)
    5. Split dodge -throw right, catch right, split dodge to left hand, throw left, catch left, split back to right hand - 50 times
    6. Quick stick - change hands on every toss while ball is in the air.
    7. Cross handed - 50 times each hand
    8. Around-the-back 50 times each hand
    9. Side arm after a great hard fake - 50 times each hand
    10. Create your own drill
Uniform Colors (1/20/2010)
To all players both new and old for the 2010 season, we are promoting team unity and not individuality. With that said, FLORESCENT COLORS will not be part of our uniform in any way shape or form.

Our team colors are White, Black and Royal Blue. Any player buying new equipment is to stay within these color guidelines.

Existing players, you should know better!

Under no circumstances will any player at any level be allowed to take part in any game situation if they are not properly equipped and following the team guidelines. This includes no Fluorescents of any kind on any of the following: Helmets, mouth guards, visors, helmet straps, jerseys, under shirts, shorts, socks, cleats/shoes, laces, gloves, sticks, shafts, shoulder pads, arm pads, rib pads and so on.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We will be more than happy to point you in the right direction.
Pre-Conditioning (1/6/2010)
For all students interested in playing lacrosse in the Spring (that are not participating in Winter sports): conditioning for the 2010 lacrosse season started yesterday January 5th and will continue till season opening.

Any student wanting to play is to show up at 7:30pm -9:00pm Monday - Thursday in the gym at Eisenhower High School.

Your presence is requested to help build team unification and to show us your desire for excellence in the year to come.

No equipment is needed, just your heart, confidence and the willingness to succeed.
